pioneer deck with xm ready

a1 - ch 6 (60's hits)
a2 - ch 20 (top 20 hits)
a3 - ch 47 (modern rock)

a5 - ch 150 (uncensored comedy)
a6 - ch 223 (local traffic/weather)
b1 - ch 175 (mlb channel)

a lot of the channels i go to are usually the start seek channel for me. for example ill start at channel 47, but manually seek all the way up to channel 53 before using the next preset if i didnt hear anything that leaps out at me. i have the ability to use 18 presets, guess i should start adding more.

3: 44 (Fred)
4: 47 (Lucy)
5: 54 (Ethel)
6: 202 (High Voltage)

XM2

2: 115 (Radio Disney)
3: 124 (ABC News)

I have a serious question about XM. (seriously not serius :p )

What is the fidelity of the broadcast comparable to? What I've listened to sounded compressed and grainy, even harsh. Better than FM but not CD "quality".

I suppose it depends on what you listen to it on? With my CAD-300SEI + UE10 IEM's it was not pleasant. I guess I'm biased. ;)

It's not bad, but it's not CD quality. Much closer to 128kbps mp3.

Music-wise, XM and Sirius are very comparable, but on the talk stations, XM is far superior.
