a lot of the channels i go to are usually the start seek channel for me. for example ill start at channel 47, but manually seek all the way up to channel 53 before using the next preset if i didnt hear anything that leaps out at me. i have the ability to use 18 presets, guess i should start adding more.

i don't have any yet, only had it about 10 days
i like fred and lucy and ethel and 7,8,9 ad 121 and 166 and 168
and whatever 177-190 that the Braves are on

I have a serious question about XM. (seriously not serius 😛 )

What is the fidelity of the broadcast comparable to? What I've listened to sounded compressed and grainy, even harsh. Better than FM but not CD "quality".

i only use the first bank

1) 13? country
2) 16-country
3) 49-classic rock
4) 66-rap
5) 144-nascar
6) 150-xm comedy

I suppose it depends on what you listen to it on? With my CAD-300SEI + UE10 IEM's it was not pleasant. I guess I'm biased. 😉

It's not bad, but it's not CD quality. Much closer to 128kbps mp3.

Music-wise, XM and Sirius are very comparable, but on the talk stations, XM is far superior.
