All these things are are lenses that refocus light from your TV. The picture quality degrades fairly quickly with magnification, but if you're obsessed with a big screen, willing to work hard for a crappy picture, go for it

I actually started a thread on this a little while back. I got flamed a little 'cause some people are crazy about quality. I say that costs money.....but here check it out: mi old thread
