Xine on Red Hat 7.3

[bigfatdeal]

I am running Xine on Red Hat 7.3 (The same version of Xine that came with it) and everytime I attempt to start Xine it just totally freezes the computer. I have to manually turn off the power and turn it back on to restart the computer. Any ideas?

My system:
AMD Athlon XP 2000+
ASUS A7v333
512Mb
2HDDs -> 40 Gb 7200 rpm Seagate -> WinXP Professional
17 Gb 5400 rpm Seagate -> Linux
Samsung 16x DVD Rom
Samsung 32x Writer
I boot Linux with a boot floppy.

I dunno, maybe try uninstalling the rpm (rpm -e xine....) and re-installing it....or installing it from source.
