Xigmatek HDT-SD964 12.99AR + Shipping

I think this is a pretty decent deal for those looking for a smaller version of the S1283:
Newegg has the XIGMATEK HDT-SD964 for $12.99AR + Shipping.
It dropped $10 since last night... which is a good reason I slept on it instead of pulling the trigger early.

Rebate is until Sept. 30 if you want to try to wait it out and see if Newegg gives in and puts it with free shipping.

This is absolutely a great deal! I have both the SD964 and the popular S1283 and they are very similar in performance on my machine. The only downside to the 92mm SD964 is the fan gets loud at higher rpms, but the only time it did that was when I was stress testing.

This is a great cooler at a great price and anyone that doesn't have the room for a larger cooler should take a hard look at this deal. I don't think you will be disappointed and it also has the option to add a second "pull" fan. It kept my Q6600 G0 (1.325VID)@3.0GHz (stock volts) running Prime95 short FFTs under 56C (Core Temp) with a room temp of around 72-74F. My S1283 performs the same, but is quieter.

Whatever you do, just don't get the XP-S964 as it doesn't have HDT and won't perform the same.

Also, the SD964 takes a different optional retention bracket than the S1283. For the SD964 with 4 heatpipes you need this one.
