The new Deng has arrived.
So I'm curious AT: do you think this going to improve SCS tensions, or exacerbate them?
Personally, I think we going to see a Chinese provocation or outright attack on a Japanese, American, whatever target within a year. And holy hell do I hope I am wrong wrong wrong. So far China's actions have continued in the direction I fear, and I've heard little to nothing from Beijing or its apologists that's changed that perception. The Chinese desire for their own naval bathtub, and to fish in the EEZs of it's neighbors, does not equal the pursuit of peace IMO.
