BTW- I had a MAXX, and it was pretty cool, but the problem was synching the frames. It had some pretty precipitous drops if I remember right.

Glad to see some competition coming in the 3D arena. I have a 9800P (using it now) and a 5900NU(sitting in it's box) and sad to say I am bored and want something new.
Anyway, my only question on these new cards -do you think they will ship with good drivers and game compat or is this shaping up to be a "gonna take awhile" type thing?
The XGI page says they are fully DX9 compliant parts and I've seen supposedly 3D Mark '03 scores of 56xx (the dual-GPU "V8") so maybe they'll hit the ground running?
Comments?

Well if those results are an indication of the final product, that's not bad at all.
It just depends on what price point it comes out as. If they price it up with the 9800 / 5900 cards, then it's not going to work. But if they price it around the 9600 price point, then it definitely is something to keep in mind.
