XGI Volari V3 owners - Dual Monitor support?

Has anyone tried dual analog monitors using this card? I have a Radeon 7000 that's been chugging badly even on the 2D side (i.e. smooth scrolling big pages in IE), and since this card is so cheap, I'm curious about how well dual monitors are implemented. From the articles I've found, the driver panels look very short of features when compared to ATI and nVidia's lineup.

Really though, it seems to be the best $50 choice for dual monitors, does it not?

The only picture I can find of XGI showcasing dual monitors...I suppose its still questionable if the DVI will work fine with a DVI->VGA converter.

The hell? An R7000 should not "chug" in 2D. Installed drivers? :p Hell, my old Matrox G200 was buttery smooth over 2 screens. Slap two of those (AGP+PCI) or an MMS and be content. :)

Or just add a G200 to the ATI ">It'll work</a> :p

Well, I was assuming that something was screwy with his R7000. More Matrox is always good. :D

Honestly - its most likely overheating. I've read that heat can be a problem with these cards. Its in a silent system, and the right output has been jittery everyone once in a while (brand new!).

It only chugs in Internet Explorer when I have smooth scrolling on, and have a very large, heavily loaded webpage. When I say chug, I mean, when mouse-scrolling, it moves slow at first, and speeds up. I've seen it before on older systems, but never knew what the exact cause is. Remember also that I'm running two CRTs at 1920x1440 ;)

Latest Catalyst drivers are installed.

ANYWAY - no one's bought this XGI-based card yet? I love that fact that there's a bit of competition now. I read a review between this V3 card and the MX4000 that put the MX4000 to shame, and for less money!
