I want to buy a 19" LCD monitor that states its XGA but has a max resolution of 1280 X 1024. I had always thought that max res for XGA was 1024 and then SXGA gets up to 1280. Whats the deal here?
A 19" would likely be 1280x1024 native. If it was 1024x768 I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole as the pixels would be these big globs on your screen.
