XG 2000dpi Optical Gaming Mouse (Red)

Good find...however..anyone has info on the manufacturer and the mouse per se? Kind of wary about rebates not being sent out...

Well, here're the negs:
1. TWO rebates
2. Each of them has this interesting thing of recommending to send with tracking (or, I guess, they'll just through your submissions in the garbage), which eats into rebate amount
3. It's NOT laser (and the claimed DPI is probably a marketing gimmick)
4. Corded (not a neg for some)
5. OOS

It seems to be OOS but another laser mouse is up at Buy.com at $4.99 AMIR...at 2500 dpi this time.....thoughts anyone?

Yes, the 2500dpi mouse appears to be identical to the A4tech X-750 series, without the 3xFire button. If you noticed my post above, it looks like A4tech and XG are selling the same mice.

I actually wrote a review of the X-750BF with you can see here. It's a very, very nice mouse. If the XG is identical, it's totally worth jumping on, MIR risk and all.

I'm having trouble finding it, unless it is the 2500 which is OOS as well.

Anyone have links? Thanks.

I wouldn't count on these mice coming back in stock, or of the rebates being paid. Here's some info that may or may not be true, but the poster is respected and knowledgeable about the industry. Bolding is mine.

That's MGE.

They went out of business
and Eagle Tech ended up with most of their inventory (because Skyhawk manufactured most of their cases.) They're liquidating them, hence the "Special Deal, While Supplies Last."

That unit is built by Youngyear. Utter crap. NOT a 700W. More like a 550W... if even that.

OP: Find a link to the 900W. I bet it's the XG Duro (XG is the high end division of MGE) which would mean it's a SevenTeam 750W, which would be a good power supply (although not really a 900W.)

Translation: XG is a division of MGE, which went out of business.
