XFX Vanilla 7900GT vs XXX Edition

I gotta get one or the other.....How many FPS does the XXX have over the vanilla one?
Also im not volt modding a brand new card.

I would probably get the XXX version just because it is already clocked at the higher speed and since you are not going to volt mod. You could get the vanilla one and clock it up, but there is no guarranty that you will get there. As far as the frame rates I am not sure about the munbers, but I read one review where they said that the EVGA 7900gt super clock is faster than the x1800xt 512 (in most games in that review) and the 7800gtx(non 512). I am not trying to start a war here, but this is just what I read.

But seriously, I also plan to get the XXX, because the price diff iss little and I get a picked core...I on the other hand would also do the Volt mod

most ppl don't wanna ruin a brand new EXPENSIVE component by volt modding it. most can't afford to replace it. so i'd say get the XXX version cuz then you don;t have to OC and its all under warranty. however with price approching $400 i would suggest a x1900xt that would beat a votlmoded 7900gt.

How about the new eVGA Signature Series for 400$ its a 600mhz core and 1600mhz ram. Also get a free game in 06.
