I disagree, I believe that US price for your 7850 is higher than some US prices for the 7870, so there is hope you can still wait for the 7870 prices to drop.

I would not get an XFX. Get a Sapphire or MSI. They all have the same game bundle.

I'm taking the price hike to be a sign from the gods---and KingFatty , I will keep an eye on the 7870 prices...

Their coolers just are not as good as the others. Their cards (For the 7k series anyway) run noticeably hotter that other makes. And its not that they use quieter fans, they just do not cool as well.
