XFX and the G70

XFX have the fastest implementation of the G70, not only that they have 2, running in SLI in a back room at their booth.....i bet its SH!T HOT!


We have just learned that XFX have not one, but two NVIDIA G70-based video cards running in a back room on their stand at Computex. We believe that they are demonstrating the fastest implementation of G70 that is currently planned, paired in SLI mode.

While we can't give any details on G70's specification at the moment, we can reveal that the chips on XFX's stand are possibly the only two running cards at the show.

This shows the strength of XFX's close relationship with NVIDIA, with the graphics giant giving away its only working silicon to one of its board partners.

As we mentioned in a previous article, NVIDIA will not launch G70 at the show, but we expect it to release a couple of weeks after everything has calmed down a little.

We'll bring you more details, as and when we can.

I really don't care what XFX has, to be honest. I'll never buy one of their products unless they make some DRASTIC improvements.

well doesnt matter how much u dont like them..........looks like they bummed nvidia enough to become very close business partners

nvidia did supposedly only give G70's to manufactures who have close relations with nvidia.....and XFX could actually have the only two working G70's there

Any other people who are nVidia only? BFG might be I think.

Actually I rarely do, since you get the new stuff atleast a month before it starts getting on the shelves over here. And I am also very reluctant to use my money. 😉

But now that I've decided that I might as well go for a new and powerful setup I want specs, specs and even more specs 😀

Hopefully it will be available over here in August.
