XFX 7970 DD - what bios to flash?

I have a XFX R7970 DD, and I would like to unlock the potential of this card. I did alot of reading and there are different verisons of this card. I have v2.

FX-797A-TD FX-797A-TDJ V2.0
DD Radeon 7970 925M 3GB D5 2xmDP HDMI 2xDVI

My understanding is since this is not a reference card my bios options are limited to any other card with the same PCB layout.

Has anyone tried to flash a new bios on this puppy?

I flashed a Gigabyte 7970 GHz BIOS onto mine before I sold it. Went from 480 kH/s scrypt to 670 kH/s+ (limited by thermal throttling due to crappy cooler).

You can use atiflash to do this via a USB boot drive.

Edit: I'm not sure mine was V2 or not. So you may be out of luck if your PCB is significantly different.

Thanks for the response, I was only able to find one post on the internet about v2 and the person was not able to find a BIOS that worked with it. I guess it is what it is at this point.
