XFX 7800GT

Anyone know why Newegg doesnt carry the xfx 7800gt anymore? Maybe Im blind but didnt see it anywhere. Need one to run SLI. Or can I run a different brand card with xfx?

You can use a different brand, no problems there.

Reason they dropped it? None left in stock perhaps?

You can run different brands no problem as long as you have new nvidia drivers

so as long as it is the same gpu, I can use it? That and sli conn has to be mapped the same way.........

Too bad no one is selling one here pretty cheap........;-P

As long as they are the same GPU (and as long as you don't have something silly going on like those gainward cards) then it will work fine.

Well I payed 265.00 US$ for the one I got now(used @ PCA). That was before the 7900 came out though. What you lookin to get for it? PM me a price and maybe we can make a deal.

prolly dropped it because they ran out of stock, or nvidia wants to phase out the 7800GT/GTX's completely for the 7900's...just my 2 cents.
