Yes they are. They a double lifetime warranty on thier cards, one for you, and one for whomever owns the card after you:)

extremetech.com has a review up on the eVGA cuperclocked 7800GS. Compares it to the stock version and the x850XT.

Actually they compare an overclocked 7800GS to an X800XT, which is essentially an underclocked X850XT. Not a fair comparison IMO.

That card is worth $200 tops right now. For $300 you could get a new motherboard AND graphics card.

The 7800 GS needs to hit $250 or lower. I think it will, but when? Heh, thats the question.

Im torn between 6x GS and 7x GS.

Read what you wrote. You compared the 6800GS PCIe and 7800GS AGP. (produced people who are still on AGP mobos) How is that "$200 only"? Or does the 6800GS PCIe come free with new mobo, CPU, and PSU?

Oh yes I'm sure I can pick up more than $10 for my mobo. Tell me, who is going to want to buy my socket 754 AGP mobo for more than $10 + shipping?

As far as rebates - no thanks. I don't like waiting months for something that has a high chance of getting "lost in the mail" when I call to inquire about the status of it.

You're right. I can't wait to sell my Radeon 9700. I'm gonna be rich.

I upgraded my 5900 to a 6600GT about a month ago. How could I go wrong for a tad over $100? My son inherited the 5900 and I sold his 5600U for $55 shipped.

I was betting Nvidia would come out with a 7800GS despite all the naysayers saying AGP was dead and now they have. In 6 months, probably less I'll buy one, give the son the 6600GT, and sell the 5900. I'm thinking that the price of the 7800GS will get down to $200 in 6 months or less.

Well its 299 for the non overclocked version and about 319-329 for EVGA's SuperClocked and XFX's Extreme version of the card.
