I have a XFX 7800 GTX (OEM) with a stock cooler on it, and when running 3Dmark03 or 05, my temps are maxing out at 77C. Does that not sounds a little high? I am using Rivatuner to monitor the temps when running.

It depends on a lot of things. Airflow in your case, heatsink on the card. The ambient temp, in the room and case can make a huge difference. I wouldn't be to worried as long as it works fine.

Airflow in the case is good and ambiant temps not bad at all. I am thinking it is the heatsink.... something else to add to the watercooling system.

Bloody hell!!!!

I'm pulling approximately 274 Watts with that card!!!!! No wonder my power conditioning unit is overloading and posting error codes!

Thanks for that link!

I just played Quake 4 for an hour with all settings on high and at 1920 x 1200 resolution. My XFX 7800 GT (which is clocked higher than your GTX) is at 44c. But my ambients inside the case are very low tonight--29.1 by the CPU and 27.5 at the bottom of the MOBO. I have great airflow into my case and the extra 120mm fan on the Scythe Ninja CPU cooler probably pushes some air over the video card as well.

H0witzer, you're obviously watercooling your CPU, what are your ambients in the case?
