XFX 7800 GT Video Out Problems

Has anyone had any problems using the video function? I have tried hooking up through the s-video out and the component out and it display the desktop on my tv but is scrolls very violently, and it grayed out. I have tried using different resolutions, 60, 72, 75 ,85 HZ to no avail. I have a 802.11g adapter next to the video card but I disabled that so I don't think thats affecting it. The weird thing is I used to do s-video out with my old Geforce 3 and it worked fine, so I know the tv can handle it. Any ideas?
