Price is good through 8/6. Thursday the sale price was $164.99, but has dropped today to $149.99 with free shipping. This is the 590mhz/1.6ghz model, the fastest model XFX makes. Not much of a bundle, but it is full retail.

Linky

If you apply for a Buy.com visa, you get another $30 off instantly with your first purchase, bringing the price down to $119.99!

This is BY FAR the best price seen for this model 7600GT, plus NO REBATES, FREE SHIPPING, and in many places (like mine) NO TAX!!!

Thanks for the link. It is a good price but both of the reviews I read showed the x1800GTO with a slight lead over it and they go for $175 on ebay. A sligh lead normally wouldn't be worth it but the 7600GT XXX edition is already overclocked about as high as it will go by XFX where as the x1800GTO has lots of headroom for overclocking.

The x1800 GTO also draws a lot more power (requires 30A on 12v rail) and generates more heat, something also to consider

Enjoy that Ebay card, that costs more, takes more power, comes from ebay (yuck) and has no warranty other than what the seller gives you. I'll take a brand new card from buy.com with double lifetime warranty any day. But that's just me...

:p

Thanks, OP. If I needed one, I would order one...

Well, I was in for the previously posted HOT DEAL Outpost HP 3700+ a1230n for $329 (arrived yesterday, now $499). This computer just needed a decent graphics card...this is perfect. I just ordered one. Thanks for the deal RagunCajun!

I have the XFX 7600GT with core clock of 580Mhz (overclocked by XFX). I guess this one is 590Mhz version. The stock fan ramps up during gaming. Otherwise, It is pretty quiet. However, I bought the NV silencer 6 to replace the stock fan and now the system is basically quiet. hehe:).

Just my two cents

There are people on Ebay that will screw you but I was referring to buying a new/refurbished card with an ATI warranty. If you purchase wisely you won't have any problems. (I have never needed to leave negative feedback, I wish I could say that about Walmart and a few other retailers) I've purchased 9 video cards in my life (5 from ebay) and the only one that has ever had any problems came from Best Buy and they told me I had to go through ATI so it didn't make much of a difference.
Further the card costs $25 more and it's stock speeds beat the factory overclocked card and the x1800GTO can overclock another 10%-15% which places it well ahead of the other card.
I'm not really sure how to address the "double lifetime warranty" that you apparently get but I hope you enjoy it.

I got scammed by ebay!!! I won an auction for a geforce 7600 GS. What I received was a geforce 6600. Someone took out the sticker from a 7600 gs and stuck it on. Damn I'm mad! For all of you who want to do ebay you might end up in the same boat as I.

Only buy from major sellers (100+ per month) with a very high positive feedback % and the odds of having a problem as good or better than those of having one with something from Best Buy. There are plenty of complete POS on Ebay that will try and scam you every chance they get but they generally don't manage to scam 100+ people a month and they certainly don't have a high rating. If you buy from a guy whose been selling for 2 weeks and only has 2 feedbacks you are taking a huge risk...

The seller had 60,000+ ratings. It was EZ-Drop. I think someone dropped it off to them and they just went by the label on the back of the video card.

You can resell it and the 2nd owner gets the warranty. That makes the resell very easy and trouble free.

And the x1800GTO doesn't easily have the upper hand and needs an aftermarket cooler (warranty voiding) to really reach its full potential.

Whatever you want though...

That's a great price on an overclocked 7600GT...although my card is still 10 MHz faster ;)

Sorry StevenNevets, not the same. LOL, I've never played BF2. Although tempted to buy it, it's mostly an online game, and I'm not into online gaming!

Ordered mine with the Visa and got it for $119.99. Don't know if I'll keep it - I've got a 6600GT going great and my laptop (see below) has "roughly" comparable video power. I may just wait till DX10 and the next midrange GPU.

I checked today, and the price is the same, but is now OOS. You may be able to purchase at sale price and get it shipped when stock comes in, but not sure. Either way this is a GREAT price. The X1800GTO is about equal, maybe a little faster overall in some games, but retail GTOs cost more, larger PCB, louder???, and draws more power. To bad it doesn't come with any game bundles (GRAW comes to mind!). I told myself when the price out the door (no rebates) dropped to under $150 I'd bite

For whatever it's worth the seller stood by his product. It was very admirable of them to give me a refund for it.

Yeah most reputable ebay sellers are OK...I'm just occasionally disappointed by retarded packaging.
At any rate, as someone who has 99+% positive feedback myself I can tell you that I've never screwed over a customer.

Plus anyways whenever I buy from someone with less than spectacular feedback I always make sure I'm covered by Paypal and my credit card company in case it all goes to hell. No it's not as sure-fire as ordering from like Amazon.com but when there aren't any good deals on stuff at regular websites ebay sometimes comes through.

Also good for stuff that's sold out (but not in too high of a demand)

Deal is still on! It's currently OOS, but you can order it at this price.

Got mine 8/11. Still contemplating whether I'll keep it or send it back
