More like $178 (PCI-e) at Monarch actually. Besides it can handle pretty much any game at 1280x1024 with 4xAA and 16x AF and keep framerates above 30fps, what more can I ask for?

1600x1200 at those aa/af settings?

If you need all that at 1600x1200 then you should be willing to buy a $400 video card. It wasn't too long ago that a $200 card could not run even 1280x1024 at 4xAA and 16AF at above 30fps, so even at 1280x1024 you had to get a $350+ card. With the 6600GT all that has changed. Since I have a monitor with native 1280x1024 I couldn't ask for more for the price. If you need to max out everything on a new 1600x1200 native resolution LCD monitor (or use 1600x1200 on your premium CRT) then you should also be willing to pay for the graphics power to do so.
