xfx 6800 gs agp unlocked problems

I unlocked this card with rivatuner to 16 pipes and 6 vertex but i haven´t overclocked it. I´ve played many games and only two of them i ´ve got artifacts: 3dmark05 in the canyon test in the rock face there are few artifacts, and in Path of Neo in a few textures.
In the rest: FEAR, Quake 4, Riddick, NfS:most wanted, Call of duty 2. There are not artifacts. The graphics are perfect.
I´m using beta drivers 82.12 so, do yu think that the few artifacts in Path and 3d mark is cause i unlocked the card? or cause another reason

have you tried running those games without unlocking? see what it does first.

also, high temp could also lead to artifacts. check your temp while running those games with the rivatuner built in hardware monitoring.

If you have any artifacting at all as a result of unlocking, the pipes are defective. End of story.

Not saying you can't leave them open, mind you, just that there's nothing that's going to fix it when it comes to drivers, etc.

mmm ok i locked and unlocked again the card.
3dMark05 has no artifacts cause the unlock, it was cause high overclock.
But Path of neo is THE ONLY GAME with artifats in some textures when the card is unlocked to 16 pipes. I have tested a lot of games like i said before and there is no artifacts at all.
So this is very weird, can anybody with this card unlocked and path of neo confirm this fact???, i don´t understand if i have defective pipes why only one game is affected.
Help!!!

It just depends on what the game's code is utilizing as far as your card's hardware. My friend's old 9500 softmodded would display a few artifacts in far cry on a multiplayer map on the underside wing of an airplane, but in no other game anywhere or in any version of 3dmark. His pipelines were defective, but obviously usable.
