XFX 6800 AGP question

Anybody have this card? How loud is it? Does it sound like a vacuum cleaner? I don?t even want to put it in until I change the fan, if it is a screamer.

But seriously, good question.
I hear it runs cooler than an X850 so I'd assume it is quieter (potentially or otherwise).
Wonder if that helps at all since you would have to know what a X850 sounds like.

Now we wait for those who know what their talkin' about to give a more educated response.

i have the PCIe XFX verison, really shouldn't matter though, they're both using the NV's reference cooler design. for me there was a high pitch whine upon start up, but after that i was less noticable. if fan noise might be a issue, you might want ad a NV5 silencer or a Zalman VF700. both will cool better than the stock heatsink and are much quieter.
