XFX 6800 128mb Awesome card

This card has been great 10 grand on 3d03, 3.9 grand on 05, unlocked all pipes effortlessly and shaders. Good investment, though the gpu doesnt overclock to well, but the memory goes to 1ghz easily.

The build date was May 2004 if anyone is looking into it, but I cannot overclock the gpu at all without artifacts oh well.

Did any capacitors fall off the card? There were problems with Black Friday PNY 6800NUs having loose or missing capacitors.

No problems with anything, and the card is quiet as well.

The key point is:

How much is it?? If it is $299...............I would go for the Crap PNY 6800 for $199 and try my luck

So you have the memory overclocked from 700 -> 1000 ? The highest I have seen for a 6800 NU is 900 and that is usually when the GPU is not unlocked as unlocking the pipes seems to lower how far you can overclock for some. Do you know what speed the memory is on that card?

Dont ask about the ram, I cant believe it either but I dont run it normally just for benchmarking the bad boy adds about 5 to 7 fps, the card cost me 262 to my door which is always nice especially from the EGG. I dont know the speed of the memory is if you could give me a hint on how to check let me know.

MDE, I believe the broken caps were on just PNY cards ... hopefully this was not an issue with other cards as well.
