XFX 6600GT Temperature

Its Overclocked to 544/1090 (500/1000 Default)

Iddle its 54C and loaded from 63 to 70

Its that normal? If not what the hell happens. The card runs aweasome I have 66.93 drivers. You mentioned a driver remove tool please post the link, by the way what driver you recomend.

My 6600gt would hover around 45c idle, not much more under load. But then again I just had to RMA it..

At stock it idles at 33C and under load it is 69C

So your idle is high but as long as the load is fine, which it is, you should be fine.

My XFX 6600GT also idles quite high (51C), but under load doesn't go past 65C. Why would it idle high, but have normal load temps?

You may want to check this article about various 6600GT cards. In their testing, the XFX ran the hottest and the loudest. You can compare your experience with the review there...

Yes but the Memory Clock is 1200 on the test.

Other thing is that my xfx is not like that the fan with the drawing its all cromed. Maybe I am fu ked, or maybe thats better?
