XFX 6600GT Best drivers?

I just received the card XFX 6600GT, Plugged in, put the 12V jack and I am formatting the Hard drive.

I want the best drivers for my xFX, can you help me?

Load the driver that come with the card and then go to Nvidia's homepage and download the latest Forceware Driver. Run the update driver. That's your best bet for performance, quality, and performance.

I have found this is a fantastic website to get drivers, oc'ing utilities, demo's etc... They have a good forum and run many benches with diff Nvidia drivers and show comparisons. Check it out. I use the 66.93's but am about to make the switch to 71.20's. Make sure if you are a fanatic about using WHQL drivers to read before you install. They have MANY beta drivers. If worried about beta's than obviously go to Nvidia's web and get the "latest" WHQL'd from them. 😉 There are no "best" drivers. It depends on what games/benches you like to run and your machine. Manufactures sometimes have some useful utilities that load with their drivers. If you want to use them, load their drivers first and then update. If you don't want them, no problem, just load the drivers straight from Nvidia.

And remember that beta and non-WHQL drivers are that way for a reason. I'm not saying that they will do anything bad (but they might), but if things get unstable, switch back to the standard drivers first and see if that fixes your problem.
