xfx 5850 issue (amd gpu clock utility)

so i'm on the latest cats

then installed the amd gpu clock tool v0.9.8

when running it says failed: no valid device found

is there a newer version of the gpu clock tool?

i tried googling but no answers


OR can i use the msi after burner program w/o flashing my 5850 ? or do you have to flash it

Just use afterburner

using afterburner now, does it always over ride what CCC has?

Turn overclocking in CCC off to avoid any problems. I haven't had any but there is no reason to leave it on.
