XFree86 and mouse *fixed

I installed Debian "Woody" on my workstation and I've finally gotten X to start. I was having some problems finding my mouse so I installed mdetect, and when I ran it it gave me two devices, /dev/psaux and intellimouse. When I put /dev/psaux in my XF86Config-4 file, X starts, and it shows me a little mouse, but it won't move. If I try any other device, X won't start at all (X needs a pointer to start). Anyone have any suggestions? The mouse is a ps/2 hooked up to a kvm switch, btw...

*I more or less fixed it...
