Anyone tried it yet? I'd hate to ruin a good install of LM7.1. 🙂 Lemme fire up the cable modem. Maybe I can actually get dual displays with this one.

I just bought a new monitor (hurry up lazy UPS SOBs. i want it now). Are most people having trouble w/ dual monitor setups?

I think the biggest problem with multiple displays is that no one really knows how to set it up (XF86Config-wise). I mean, they have only a few sentences in the documentation. The best chance you had was if you ran 'XFree86 --configure' just to get a clue. 4.0.1 is supposed to contain a graphical config utility ... but I am wondering how you can use it to configure 4.0.1 without having 4.0.1 already installed and running! :/
