Xeon X3220 vs QC2 Q6700

Is there an advantage over either processor? They are relatively equally priced but not sure which one to order. They are both at 2.4Ghz. I just picked up a new MB and ram for my build which consists of Asus Maximus Formula SE and 4GB Patriot DC 800mhz, so I'm looking for advice on the processor.

Heres the system as it sits.

Coolermaster Praetorian 730
OCZ 600W Game X Stream PSU
Asus Maximus Formula SE
Patriot 4GB DC 800mhz
2 x LG H54N
2 x WD 320GB SE16
2 x Vantec SATA EZ SWAP
Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme
Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F & SFF21D

Any suggestions would be great.

It supports the Xeon 3xxx series. They are rebranded C2D that supposedly take a lower vcore and are made to run longer.
