Need some help .. i got a couple of Xeon 1.7 GHz with the Iwill DX400-SN motherboard. I am looking for some way to over clock them. I tried editing my bios. I was able to unlock the core max FSB but it needs data to go beyond 1.7.
It seems that the multipliers are not lock .. I seen it move from 13x - 17x. I am able to underclock it but not overclock it via the bios. Anyone got any idea's .. I am thinking i should be able to get them to run at 2.4 Ghz a piece easily.

Um, why do you think they're going to run 2.4 GHz?! The Xeon is no different than the P4, just SMP capable. I do not know of anyone that has gotten a P4 to 2.4 GHz without special liquid cooling. :)

http://holicho.lib.net/ also because my multiplier isn't lock. So you think a 423 socket cpu is the same as a 603 socket. Also most of the Xeon can reach 2.0 pretty easy from what I have been hearing.
I just was trying to do mine via a bios hack. But if someone knows of a utility I would glady post my findings.
