Xeon E7 - 8C/10C Benchmark

I'm trying to decide whether to purchase a E7-8837 running 8C at 2.67gHz or E7-4850 running 10C at 2.00gHz.

I will be purchasing 4 processors. The application I am using is thread friendly, so it will make use of all cores, including HT.

Any advice or links to benchmarks would be highly appreciated!
 
Based on the aging, but still widely used, SPEC2006 rate benchmarks, for scalable applications the 4850 should give you about the same throughput if the application uses floating point heavily, and better throughput on integer heavy application:
