Xeon E5320 vs Q6600

I'm looking at two machines with similar features except:
1) Quad Core Xeon Proc E5320 1.86GHz
2) INTEL OEM CORE2QUAD Q6600 2.4G 1066 8MB CACHE

They are similar in price. I would say go for the Q6600, but am not certain. Anyones thoughts on what I should select are appreciated?

Thanks!

Use google for simple things like this.

The top is a LGA771 only ment for server boards

The bottom is LGA775 ment for all gaming and home end boards.

Also, note the clock speed difference. Keeping aigomorla's comment in mind and noting that LGA771 server boards are much more expensive than LGA775 desktop boards (and server boards usually require buffered RAM, which is super expensive), the Q6600 is a much better deal.

Edit: Wait, you said a machine? As in a prebuilt machine? If so, I wouldn't get either; build your own. If you insist on not doing so however, I'd still suggest the Q6600 since the system is probably better suited for all-around usage, whereas the Xeon system probably won't do much good for gaming, and will be more expensive to upgrade since LGA771 procs are much pricier than their LGA775 counterparts.
