Xeon E3-1270 v3 vs Core i7 4770

I will buy a new CPU and i will use it for mainly 3ds max. Specifications of Xeon E3-1270 v3 and Core i7 4770 is look very familiar. Only main difference i can see is embedded GPU of i7. But i already have a GTX 770 and embedded GPU is not important to me. Do you have suggestions?

The counter to E3 1270v3 is the i7 4771.

If you dont use ECC memory, then you can just as well get the cheaper 4771.

Also not all boards support Xeons due to missing BIOS support.

1230V3 is where the price/performance is at if you're not overclocking.
