Wondering if anyone can find more info about these two chips.. tried some google searching, not really helpful besides finding out that they are both Sandy Bridge quad cores, 8 hyper threading

Xeon E3-1225 (server SandyBridge) starts at 3.1ghz, 1MB L2, 6MB L3

i7 2600 (desktop SandyBridge) starts at 3.4ghz, turbo up to 3.8, 1MB L2, 8MB L3

Dell is listing this Intel® Xeon® processor a little early. In a couple weeks you should be able to find all the information about this processor on http://ark.intel.com/.
