Alright, from what I have heard, I should be able to overclock my processor to 3.4 no problem without chaning the voltages or anything. Everytime I get onto windows, however, system crashes. What do I need to change in order to get my pc stable?

There is an awesome guide at the top of this forum, I would say give that a read.

Also, as far as voltages, dont listen to people who say "I got to X.Xghz on stock voltages!" You will have to adjust whatever settings your CPU/mobo makes you in order to make it stable.

Alot of people say "I got to 3.6ghz without changing any voltages", meanwhile Vcore is set on Auto.

goin to just 3.4 should just maybe require a small bump in Vcore. prolly shouldn't have to mess with much else.
