Xeon 1245v3

Currently have a 4460 i5

Was wondering if this xeon is worth the hassle. Would there be any improvement in anything besides BF1?

I acquired a server with it in it. I was going to use it as a nas but too noisy and went another route. I took out the cpu to discover its a haswell.

Don't think you'd notice a huge difference.

Been looking for videos but they all are on the 1230 or 1245v5 not the v3. From what I read its a 4770?

Yes, it's basically a 4770. The only difference is 3.8 max turbo vs 3.9 for the 4770.

I have a 1231 V3 and it's been great. It runs all cores at max turbo under load on an overclocking board.
