Xenosaga: who has it and what do you think of it so far?

Just wondering if I should get it or not. I loved Xenogears and if the gamplay and story are about the same then I'm definately getting the game.

I bought it yesterday and I must say that I'm quite impressed. Don't play it expecting Xenogears, but it is a great game in it's own right. The graphics are top notch, and so is the sound. There are quite alot of cutscenes (too many imo), but they are done well and really draw out the story. The most important part of the game is the story, which to me is better than Xenogears so far. Xenosaga started off slow but it soon picked up the pace and drew me in. Also, this is just the first part of a many part series (Xenogears I believe is supposed to be like number 5 or 6?). If you're not sure, rent it. But I am glad I picked this one up.

I bought it on launch day. Freak occurance - I'm totally out of it concerning console games, but I went to the mall that day to return my cable modem and saw it there, and decided "why not try it, Xenogears supposedly was good". This game is awesome!! I'm a big fan/veteran of Final Fantasy games (since I for the NES) and Xenosaga is currently one of my favourite RPG's - up there with FF 6/7, Chrono Trigger/Cross, etc.

I finally got Xenosaga last week but I haven't played it much yet. So far I have just "played" the openning movie. I've been playing Freelancer and I ogt hook on it. I want to finish it before I start playing Xenosaga.
