Has anyone had experience with any such products as XCarLink, AudioLink, SoundLink, and Digital Music Changer (DMC) by CHD and Charmaker companies of China?
Most of the sites and sellers seem a bit dodgy with the most professional looking being in the UK: http://www.xcarlink.co.uk/
Note I am not interested in iPod interface models. My main concern is how good the product is and whether it is worth it ($100 vs $50) over an auxilliary RCA input device for the radio unit. Plugging in a PMP is simpler/possibly more reliable and allows seeing track info however the XCarLink devices do allow using the radio unit to change tracks and the media pod (USB/SD) can be hidden away in glovebox or trunk (I believe my car is prewired for a changer back there) and not have to be fiddled with.
Any experiences or thoughts would be appreciated.
