xbox360 with sdtv?

That is what I did originally. Yes you can play and yes it is still fun. When I switched it over to my HDTV the change is just... an all new deal. I had it on a REALLY crappy TV, and I could barely read the text on some games. Dont know if that was a setting I was missing or just my crappy TV, but when I moved it over to my HDTV it was almost unreal.

In short, yes you can play, but your mileage may vary on how games look 😉

yep you can. some things will look out of place (wont affect gameplay and fun factor - trust me), but its definitely playable. HD is the way to go though.

Yes you can.

Oh and SDTV will not be optimal for some games, because the XBOX 360 will scale down, which makes text hard to read.

absolutely. hdtv isn't all that you know..pc's have been high resolution for years. you know those 30" displays? those are 4megapixels!! hdtv maxes at 2megapixels! course that being said those use dual dvi, but vga is good for hd res just fine.

Yes, and it plays fine. It actually seemed like Project Gotham Racing had Anti-aliasing in it which would be a plus for SDTV owners.

Many times though the text can be difficult to read.
