xbox360 - what does stealth patching mean?

I was looking up videos of the new xbox experience and found some posts about "Stealth Patches" and stealth games - what's up with that?
 
Well, there are two different meanings of Stealth Patches in regards to console games. One is putting out a patch without telling anyone what you're updating. The other deals with pirating.

Actually I believe it's applying an update without informing you. I believe they are referring to the ability to add new channels and dashboard content without a full blown update, much like Bungie's playlist updates.
 
I'm pretty sure in this case it was referring to how MS decided to release the new xbox experience early to those who signed up for the beta, without warning anybody until a couple hours before they did it.
