Xbox360 Speed Wheel - Requires Kinect?

I was thinking of getting the speed wheel since my living room doesn't have a place for a proper wheels and pedals setup. But I can't figure out if it requires a kinect. Does anyone know?

nope, it's an accelerometer/gyroscope/whatever controller, no kinect involved.

He's asking because they were demonstrating a new driving game with the wheel (I think Forza 4), where, if you had Kinect, you could turn your head and it would look out the window to see who was passing you.

Ahh I see that makes sense. There are Kinect features available but you don't need Kinect to use the Wheel.
