XBox360 questions

I'm thinking about getting a 360, but I don't want to get ripped off by all of the Microsoft overpriced accessories. Can I buy a regular wireless USB adapter to attach to the usb port?

Also, can I use a regular bluetooth headset with the 360?

personally I don't trust wireless reliability so I just ran a cable, as far as a head set anything with mono out, mono in on a 1/8" audio connection should work fine. It is important to note that if you buy the premium system you do get a free headset.

any workgroup bridge will do.

20 dollar router what supports client mode (WGB) or one to flash with DD-WRT. You're all set.

The premium comes with no wireless adapter. They did include a nice 15~20ft. cat 5 cable in the box though

The wireless controller and the hard drive make the premium worth it

would you need drivers for that? if so, how do you install drivers on a 360?

It's a home wireless router, no drivers. That's why you can't use any old USB adapter - no drivers. Post or search the networking section for more info as this question is a common one, with a common solution.

You use it as a workgroup bridge. Meaning it has two interfaces - wireless and wired. You plug the wired side into your 360 and then provide the necessary info for the wireless to connect to your wireless network.
