The ability to render games made in the CryEngine3 Sandbox Editor to PC, PS3, or Xbox360 on the fly is pretty cool. Allows developers to make a game, then simply render it down to any of the three platforms.

did you page through the brochure? Check the pdf link at how they pull it all together.

You basically make a game in the sandbox (regardless if its pc, ps3, xbox) and when you are done, you just render it to whatever format you want, and it refines the code to be efficient for that system.
