hmmm that would a first. what will the people who always buy all three do? I personally have had my PS2 for quite some time but rarely play it at all. I like PC's oh well should be a good battle.

If monoplosoft makes thier next X-box a pimped out TIVO with media center os a hard drive and of course a dvd for recording and reading game discs then you can bet it will be the next link in the console evolution.

If they do that I doubt even the pretty graphics of the PS3 and cell chips, which will probably be 10x harder to program on then the DX 9-10 and modular engine componets of the X-box next. Theres also the fact that since development costs are soaring these days better support with unified engine components that helps keep developers from having to design entire engines will let them focus on making game content and not complex software.
