I would love to hear the "but Xbox will never have sales like Steam does" people's opinion about this.

Lets wait and see what the prices/percent off before trying to compare it to Steam or PC sales in general. Considering that nearly all those games on that list that are on the PC have been in many extremely discounted sales and bundles already.

Either way, it is good they are having a sale.

Not saying it will be better than Steam at all, there were just a lot of Xbox critics/XB1 critics that said that Microsoft will never have any good online sales, pretty much ever. Not saying this sale will be better than Steam whatsoever (I mean comon, Steam has CRAZY deals, can't wait for the summer sale) I'm just saying it's proof MS is capable of doing online sales, which people said they weren't.

I agree with your point. But %/price matters. On older titles, if you put it up for 50% off , might as well not be a sale imo. While 50% off for a newer game is a good sale. It is all perspective. I can't wait for the Summer Seal either, have a nice bit of cash in the wallet from selling those cards :D

If it's anything like the spring sale, then the prices will be good. I bought a few games for $5 during that last sale.

Well, if it is 50% off current price, it is a good deal regardless. You're thinking older titles are still $60, which is highly unlikely. Even COD has dropping in price, which means everything else has as well. Now, if a title is going for $30 and selling for 50% off, that isn't a terrible deal. Sure, it could be better, but they could also just give us every game for free as well.

50% off a old game isn't a good deal even if the MSRP is like $20.

Let me correct myself, it isn't a good deal to someone who primarily games on a PC. For consoles, it is decent to good.

In what world is a $20 game for $10 not a good deal?

You guys are really grasping at straws now. Just accept that consoles generally get screwed and move on. You act like none of us play consoles. On the contrary some of us do both.

I have seen some very good deals on Xbox/PS3 games the last few days, even some good sales on systems. Techbargains has had a bunch listed for less than $10.

Not grasping at straws when it keeps getting brought up that the digital deals for consoles are like the PC. I understand they aren't, but others want to continually act like they are the same.

Now you throw physical copies into the conversation? That is a whole other thing where every platform is pretty equal (or consoles having the edge since PC games aren't around in retail form much anymore). Simply different logistics and ways of doing business.

Consoles have never had this.

<--- PC Games forums are that way.

Yet you guys want to act like you are/were getting Steam/PC like sales, which is what I was pointing out. I guess you forgot about that.

It was never realistic that consoles would get those kind of prices, yet people were acting like they would get them with the X1. News flash, no you were never going to get prices in the same realm as the PC and the X1 online/drm system wasn't like Steams at all. (last part isn't aimed at you, just a general thing as I've seen on this forum from a few members)

Nope, we said the DRM on the X1 was like Steam, then the haters came in and said they were only OK with the DRM if the prices were like Steam.
