Long time computer fps gamer, and my last console was a super nintendo. I bought Halo for the pc last year and loved it. Unfortunatly I really want to play Halo 2, but don't own an Xbox. Im thinking about buying one, but I have one concern. Can you hook up a keyboard and mouse to an Xbox for games? I know its possable for all the mods and such. Its just that I would hate to learn how to play on an controler, when Im used to the keyboard and mouse...

No, but aiming in Halo with the controller works well and the setup is quite intuitive.

smartjoy frag

It's not going to turn your xbox into a pc, it takes keyboard mouse input and translates it to controller input. lik-sang has a forum devoted to the smartjoy frag.

google for links

Learning to use the controller becomes second nature. I would say ALL X-box games use the same type of controller set up - left thumbstick for movement, and right thumstick for aiming/looking. The 4 action buttons and right there. The thumbsticks also click down for moe options, in Halo right was for weapon zooming, and left was for crouching - or soemthing like that. Once you learn one game - the rest are easy.
