XBox Question ?

I have some question regarding XBox :

1. Does the XBox use a DC or AC power supply ? Does it have a power supply like TV/DVD players or an adapter like laptops.
2. Do the games come in like versions specific for regions like the american version or eurpean version.

I wanna buy the Xbox here and send it out of country. Would I be able to play games available out of US ?

1) IIRC, AC, and it's just a "regular" power cord with a funny shaped end
2) No idea

I think there are some differences b/t US and European/Japanese XBox's

2. I believe that other than power options, PAL, & NTSC there isn't any region diffs..

Depends on the game for #2. Like Ninja Gaiden in Euro doesn't have the heads falling off and stuff. That, and the PAL NTSC diff.

I guess the PAL / NTSC difference shall be taken care by the TV. Now a days all are universal so I guess it shouldn'y be a problem. I wanna take an Xbox with me for my vacation and was interested in buying games out there. If those games work its gonna be great !!

Has tried using an american xbox in asia ?
