Xbox: Poor man's PC?

Sure it's a game console. Fact is though that most of the games are very pc-like. What do you say?

I think it's a game console since it doesn't run anything I've bought for my computer.

I don't see where most of the games are very PC like. Most of the games are on other consoles. The few exclusive games that have been released seem to be generally similar to other console games. I haven't seen any in depth RPG's, Flight Sims, or MMORPG's that I usually associate with PC games. They may be coming in the future, but until they do and they make some kind of impact, it looks like another console to me. The one game it does have that would probably be a good PC game is Halo, but without the keyboard and mouse...just another console game.

No. An eMachine is a poor man's PC. An Xbox is a game console. Games do not define a PC. Believe it or not, there are other uses for a computer besides playing games.
