XBox or PS2

I'll be trading in or selling either my PS2 or XBox tomorrow, and I need to know which one I should keep.

My favorite genre for console games would have to be RPG's, which gives PS2 the edge (FFX, FFX-2, etc), but I have an HDTV, and I am pretty sure XBox has a major advantage there, as more games have support for 480p, 720p, and 1080i. But, Gran Turismo is looking mighty nice, and although Forza looks nice as well, I think Gran Turismo will end up being a better game.

Anyways, which system should I keep? No matter which one I keep, I'm going to pick up a wireless controller (controller cable doesn't reach the couch, and extensions make too many cables) and a component video adaptor.

Speaking of which, are there any DVI/HDMI cables for PS2/Xbox?

EDIT: One other question...how does the PS2 look with Component cables and a compatible game?

I like my xbox a lot. Xbox's library of RPG's game have increased quite a bit too. Fable is a great RPG along with KOTOR and KOTOR 2.

I've already played through Fable and KOTOR, and they both were good, but I still don't think anything can touch the FF series.

Why would they have HDMI for either system? Neither systems have a HDMI port.

They have component cables for both systems, yet they don't have a component port.

I was all set to sell my PS2 and keeping my xbox but I've been hearing Tekken 5 is amazing, so I may have to hold out for that.

I'd sell the ps2 after you've rented GT4 to see if you like it. The PS3 will be backwards compatible anyway.

If you like playing alot of RPG's then sticking with a PS2 may be best. Xbox is my favorite console, but I am not a huge RPG fan, but I do like some RPGs.
