It's amazing the amount of IGNORANT fanboys here on ATOT - a game is not a game unless there is gratuitous amounts of blood, violence and sex.

Back on topic now, jinduy, since you're not a FPS fan, then no need to get Metroid Prime 1&amp;2. You should definitely get Pikmin 2 and Paper Mario 2. FZero GX and Ikaruga are two of the hardest games available on any console. You also need the Nintendo franchises - Mario Sunshine and The Legend of Zelda - The Wind Waker. And Resident Evil 4 is a must buy once it is available in the new year.

Theres a reason why most of ATOT reccomends the xbox, and it is because you can mod it. My bro just picked up a gamecube today for Mario Tennis, which just seems weird. Whatever, good luck with your new gamecube and the only good 5 or so games on gamecube

Gamecube is the best console reguardless of sales. It has the most entertaining, and orginal games. There are pretty much no games for xbox or ps2 that will give you a completely fresh game experience you wont find anywhere else. Halo 1 was good at the time, and because h2's gameplay is so similar to it, i got bored of it in 2 weeks, what a sorry excuse of a game.

PS2 and Xbox have NOTHING on

Zelda games

The only game that ps2/xbox has/will have is the GTA 3, VC and SA games. These games are great, and offer the kind of enjoyment that is expected of nintendo games. While you guys are marveling at san andreas, it is nothing amazing to people who know and have played quality nintendo games.

I purchased a Gamecube recently, mainly because at my parent's house we already own an Xbox and I get to play on that during my vacations. Also the Gamecube was cheaper.

I have begun to regret the decision. I think getting a PS2 would have been better, or perhaps better yet, another Xbox for myself at school. The Gamecube's game lineup is not that great, and there's very litttle to look forward to. A lot of the upcoming cross platform games are not hitting Gamecube, and those that are have been "gutted", with increasingly important online content having been removed. An example of this is the Mortal Kombat: Deception game, which is fairly bland without its multiplayer.

I bought Gamecube because I thought that oneline gaming was not available for it but would be iin the future. I was wrong. Gamecube has a broadband adapter but Nintendo has made a concious decision not to support any additional online gaming. It sucks.

I would have given the Gamecube a better chance than just 2 hours.

The Gamecube is a excellent system. Between the XBox and the Gamecube I'll take a Gamecube anyday. My XBox hardly ever gets any play, while the Gamecube is used at least once a day.
